New Erasmus+ project

The Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development of the SUA in Nitra received a grant under the Erasmus+ program, Key Action 2: Cooperation partnerships. The faculty was awarded the grant in the amount of EUR 400,000 by the National Agency of the Slovak Academic Association for International Cooperation for the implementation of the project "Education, training and innovations in conversion to organic farming - ETICOF". The faculty, as the applicant and coordinator, will implement the project in cooperation with the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources.

The partners of the project are institutions from the Czech Republic, Germany and Hungary. The project will be implemented from June 1, 2023 and will last 36 months.

Summer school INVEST 2023

Dear students,

we would like to bring into your attention an opportunity to participate in a summer school titled “BOTTOM-UP PLANNING PROCESSES – HOW TO ENGAGE STAKEHOLDERS” organized by the Karelia University of Applied Sciences from Finland within the project INVEST – INnoVations of REgional Sustainability: European UniversiTy Alliance) project funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The course will introduce the importance and ways of involving stakeholders in planning processes. The focus is on private actors, but not forgetting the viewpoint of public organisations either. The course will employ student-centered approaches combined with interaction with real-world stakeholders. During the summer school, multidisciplinary international groups of students will work with regional organisations to formulate a stakeholder engagement plan.

The summer school is intended for students of all faculties and study programs who are at least in the second year of bachelor study. Prerequisite for participation in the winter school is knowledge of English at the B2 level.

INVEST winter school 2022

Dear students,

we would like to bring into your attention an opportunity to participate in a winter school titled “POST CODE – POtential of Sustainable Tourism for COmmunity DEvelopment”, which is organized by the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra within the project INVEST – InnoVation of Regional Sustainability: European University Alliance. The aim of the winter school is to develop students' professional competences in the field of improving the development of communities by solving a specific situation. During the winter school, multidisciplinary groups of students will work on a challenge posed by a Slovak organisation related to sustainable tourism in a specific region.

The winter school is intended for students of all faculties and study programs who are at least in the second year of bachelor study. Prerequisite for participation in the winter school is knowledge of English at the B2 level.
