First Meeting of ProLand Project Partners
11.12.2024On December 4, 2024, the first online meeting of partners of the newly approved cooperation partnership project “EU Partnership to Protect Agricultural Land in the Face of Climate and Environmental Challenges. Caring for Future Generations” (acronym: ProLand, no. 2024-1-PL01-KA220-HED-000252809) took place.
The project is coordinated by Poznan University of Life Sciences (Poland) and includes the following partners:
- Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development (local coordinator: Prof. JUDr. Lucia Palšová, PhD.)
- Universita Degli Studi Roma Tre (Italy)
- Universidad de Almeria (Spain)
- Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine)
The project aims to enhance awareness, knowledge, and managerial skills of students and teachers in the field of agriculture and land protection legislation. This goal will be implemented in the context of current challenges posed by climate change.
The meeting focused on introducing project activities, planned outputs, and administrative and financial guidelines.
Our faculty will participate in the initial phase of the project by contributing to the methodological preparation of a joint educational program. In 2025, we will organize a summer school on the topic of agricultural land protection for our students and students from partner universities.
Additionally, we will engage in other activities, such as workshops for students and educators, the establishment of so-called “Living Labs” focused on agricultural land protection, the development of educational materials and publications, and the preparation of joint research articles. Our specific task will be to develop and adapt the InCreDi smart educational app to support student learning.
We believe that the outputs of the ProLand project will be successfully integrated into the educational process, enhancing the expertise and competencies of both students and teachers in the field of agricultural land protection.
